With that infamous tubular wrap-over seat-stay treatment it could be anyone of those brands already mentioned ie Raleigh, Falcon, Coventry Eagle or Carlton.

For my part I have never seen any brand other than Carlton and Falcon who use a quality RGF bottom-bracket shell in conjunction with the wrapover. Additionally the frame does show some evidence of having been cleaned up and filed - the wrap-over is far cleaner and better profiled than many others and the heavy and untidily cast Milremo (Davis Components?0 internal fork crown certainly has been fettled up and thinned down to made it more presentable.

My guess is that it is a Carlton, from the 60s/early 70s but I have no idea of the model. Does the frame have a number..and whereabouts?
