i've seen a lot of holes in a lot of bikes, but today i saw this:

photo shows one countersunk hole drilled in each wrench face of a steel campagnolo adjustable HS cup.
is this a "official" colnago modification? anyone seen another drillium headset?
looks like that might be a homemade alloy locknut as well. does anyone recognize the locknut?
