I have one of those dropouts in my hand, and it does appear the ebay slot has been lengthened. I believe the Campy vertical dropouts are fairly old, but weren't very popular. This may have been because they are stamped, not forged like the 1010 dropouts.
I heard Cinelli kept some of the vertical dropouts on his desk, anyone know of a picture of that? Eric Keller Boalsburg, PA
