Ok, well, I like the SKS P35 fenders for tires up to about 25mm, and so far the Zefal 45 mm round-section fender for 32 mm tires. I use a Berthoud mudflap on the front, to protect the drivetrain. General rules (just my opinion, really) for width and clearance are for the fender to be 8 to 12 mm at least wider than the tire, and 10 to 15 mm internal spaced from the tire.
