The decals came from Greg Softley. I must admit I am pleased with the result - the frame has been lacquered but the painter mixed their satin lacquar with the gloss and fiddled with the activator percentage - its not quite the same as the natural shine from an old style oil base stove enamel but is a lot better than the very shiny results obtained from modern lacquars normally. The painter also did not put too much paint on - this is more true to the original and is more resistant to chipping...
