Greetings---

I forgot to say that in looking at Sean Flores' method of using double-sided tape, the way he does it undoubtedly can work because it doesn't rely exclusively on tape but also uses spoke heads as "rivets" to further anchor the badge into the head tube.

In recounting my experience with double-sided tape, I didn't mean to discount his approach, but only to say you can't really rely on the tape alone for a bike you're actually going to ride and transport (as opposed to show).

\r?\n> I'll probably catch some flak for

\r?\n> this, but here goes.

\r?\n>

\r?\n> One quick and dirty technique I have used in the absence of

\r?\n> rivets is spoke heads and either double stick tape (high

\r?\n> tac) or an epoxy of your choice- depending on how permanent

\r?\n> you want the application to be. The least permanent, double

\r?\n> stick tape, is quite easy. Just apply it to the entire

\r?\n> surface of the back of the badge and cut the excess edges

\r?\n> off. Then take two spoke heads with a tiny bit of the elbow

\r?\n> still intact and insert it into the rivet holes with a bit

\r?\n> of epoxy.

\r?\n>

\r?\n> IMHO it doesn't turn out too horrible.
