Have dinner plans for this Wednesday? If not, please join me to welcome into our fine city a couple of distinguished guests: Brett Horton of San Francisco, CA and Garth Libre of Miami, FL. I wouldn't call this a "club meeting" per se, especially right on the heels of the call to gather late last week...But a nice excuse to gather wit' da boys and girls, show 'em how NYC does it and maybe talk the talk about old lightweights (among other things). I can't make any promises, but an exciting "show and tell" is likely! I thought we'd gather in mid-town and head over to what I like to call "Secret Burger", also known as The Burger Joint. A dive-y, 70's suburban burger shack literally tucked into the depths of the oh-so-swanky Le Parker Meridian Hotel. Sam Adams on tap, killer milkshakes, awesome fries, naugahyde booths and that's about it. There's another bar in the hotel that we can retire to should we wish to throw another back as well. So please join us for burgers, beer and bikes.
