Subject: [CR] Was: Bill Whitcomb Now: Soens
Thanks Mike and Steven,
While searching the web I came across this thread http://forums.cyclingweekly.co.uk/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/38167/Main/31763/
which seems to suggest Bill Whitcomb also worked at Cougar Cycles
and actually built a frame for 1984 LA Olympics. (right at the bottom
of the topic) but apart from that there seems to be very little
information about him on the web. Surely he must have been well known
in Liverpool, it seems he was a builder for Cougar (was that Soens?)
but when did he badge his own bikes?
Quite exciting, I now have two frames in the shed built by builders
who built bikes for the 1948 and 1984 Olympics respectively!
