My 1969 Fiamme stem has a hex-headed bolt, not allen key, so I would not put this earlier than 1970.  Holdsworth were UK importers of Fiamme and my stem is on a 1969 team bike, so I would think that it was the latest available in 1969, in the UK at least. Hugh Thornton Cheshire, England

Can anyone confirm the age/era of this Fiamme stem? I was under the impression that it is from the 1960's but am now being told that it is from the early 1970's. Any help is appreciated. Here is the link from ebay:
