I also attended Larz today as a custom frame builder.  It was my first time and I didn't know what to expect.  I was pleasantly surprised and talked with a lot of people that enjoy many types of bikes. I also was hoping to meet Peter Weigle and Richard Sachs.  I had one of Richards old bikes with me and was hoping to talk with him about it.

Attended Larz today for the first time in a few years.  Saw some CR guys there, Steven Maasland, Eddy Albert, Ken Denny, Jason Cloutier, the guys from Via in Philly, Maurice was involved in the organizing.  May have missed other CR guys, we don't always know the faces connected with the names here, and there wasn't an organized CR function.

The classic content was lower than last time I attended.  More baloon-tires and "muscle bikes" than in the past. Best In Show went to a motorized baloon-tired Schwinn.  I had expected to maybe see Richard Sachs and Peter Weigle, but didn't see either there.  There were a couple of young guys from Providence RI who build some interesting custom steel frames under the name Circle Cycles or maybe Circle "A" Cycles.  Somehow young builders seem to continue to be attracted to the craft.
