Sorry if this bike is off topic but I assume there are many people on this list who would be interested in this bike. 1885 Victor 54 inch high Wheel. This was the first year Victor build High Wheel bikes and it has a very low serial number of 285. Bike was restored 30 years ago and ridden a lot since. Including one century. This bike is sized for someone around 5' 10". Paint and Nickle done 30 years ago show their age lots of scapes in the paint, not a show bike but the bike rides well. The rims and spokes were replaced when bike was restored and are sound. Tires are OK Has proper pedals and seat but front seat spring is missing. Brake hardware complete,Bike has crossed spokes dropped bars and original ball end grips. Price $4,000.00. Bike in Cleveland Ohio Area. Shipping a high wheel is a pain and I do not want to do it but would be willing to drive half way to deliver bike with in a 500 mile radius. Been riding this bike a long time and hate to give it up but I'm 5' 8" and at 58 years old this bike has gotten to big for me to handle safely and I recently found a smaller high wheel.
