Hi George: You're quite right. Bruegelmann ( which still exists) was a prominent large bike and bike catalogue shop in Germany. They had a close relationship with Cinelli and offered, in the 1970's, by order only, a superlight model available only in red and yellow livery, either as a frame set or a complete bike with drillium , etc. (the real key to identifying the bike is the perforated BB shell). Pista versions were less common. When in Berlin early this year I saw the yellow Pista bike shown in the website you've referenced. It was an authentic Bruegelmann Cinelli Pista frameset rebuilt by the dealer-I believe the price was over 5000 Euros, but I don't recall. The dealer had other very interesting period bikes, many of German origin, as would be expected in Berlin. Angel Garcia, among other American collectors, has a very nice Bruegelmann Cinelli. His is unique since it was built as a TT bike. It can be found on his website. The pista bike on eBay is not a Bruegelmann Cinelli. Regards, George George Hollenberg MD CT, USA
