Moving away from the topic of Merckx bikes with Universal brakes.........I want to say how helpful a 'member' has been in my quest to find a 27.2 300mm long Campag twin bolt seat post..........I posted a request for such a seat post a few weeks ago......and someone who I think who can best be described as a 'lurker' came up with the goods......what's even better is he sent me the seat post on approval, to make sure I would be happy with it before paying!
I now have the seat post happily set up on my Woodrup, and ready to race in a 25mtt on Sunday [sure to have the oldest bike in the race!]
So a big thankyou to Wayne Dube.............and yes I have sent him the money!
