George, I don't know if you're trying to be clever, or if you just haven't been paying attention. These SPAM emails, oddly labeled as such in the subject, have been showing up repeatly in recent weeks, sometimes several per day. Always the same pattern, a reponse in German to a recently posted CR message. Dale himself had one of these SPAM responses a couple of days ago. Quite obviously these are not being sent by CR members, nor has anyone yet figured out where they are coming from or how to stop them.

"All this flap" was not just about the single eBay bike, but a discussion of how many different companies made Merckx/Moltenis, which of them might have been sold to the public and which builders might have supplied actual team frames. I don't know what your point is about the Hour Record bikes. I said that they had Windsor decals slapped on them. And yes they were actually Colnagos, as anyone who has been on the CR list for several years already knows.

Regards and Good Night,
