George,

I've used Tufo Sealant in non-removable valve cores without a problem - so far.

If I have to use it again I'm going to do it a little differently because I have similar concerns.

For starters I think that you can get by with far less sealant than Tufo recommends. I've done it out of necessity already.

Tufo's instructions are different depending on whether you're using the tube or bottle. The tube looks easier to use but can be messy if you don't get a good seal around the valve stem.

Next time I plan on putting the sealant into the tire, putting in a little air, spinning the wheel, then with the valve at the bottom, fully inflate the tire and let it set for a long while if possible. That way it "should" clear any sealant out of the valve.

Caveat: I've only used Tufo Sealant (yellow label) in a number of old sewups and 1 or 2 clinchers as experiments to see how well the stuff works. So far so good.

When I'm riding sewups, I now carry a tube or bottle of Tufo Sealant with me.
