Since I am a little bit into Chesinis I called my friend an former boss who used to be the german Chesini Importer. He knew that van Herweerden was one of the dutch Chesini Importers and he also confirmed that Chesini's workshop or factory was just 6km away from the Zullo venue. He also once was recommended to Zullo by Chesini when being in need of a special made frame. So there might be a friendly cooperation between the two builders. Regarding the Zullo I contacted the seller and he pointed me right to the CR site where a similiar Zullo frame can be viewed. So my educated guess on this bike is, that van Herweeden, being both companies Importer, just put together a Zullo made Van Herweerden labeled frame with Chesini made pantogrphed and anodized Campy SR parts. The seat post also shows the typical C pantograph as seen on some Chesinis. I suspect that Chesini also made the pantographs in house, since a lot of Chesinis came with a pantographed headtube. Maybe Chesini also did the pantographing on the Zullo and van Heerwerden headtubes which would make sense economically. This is however, just an educated guess, but plausible in my eyes. The other bike in the german rennrad-forum had a similiar setup, also with C-pantoed shifters and the super record pantoed rings and stem, mounted on a Vitus aluminium frame. It also came from the Netherlands, so it seemed to be quite normal for van Herweerden to sell different frames with pantoed Chesini and other parts. The pantographing style on the rings is a lot like the pantographing on my Chesini parts, especially the groove on the edges of the big ring.

Maybe Angel Garcia, having connections to the Chesini family in Verona can shed some more light in this matter.

I believe the mix of 'Super Record' black and panto'd parts and the 'Chesini' panto'd parts is just a mix-up (or deliberately) that happened in the shop (Van Herwerden, you can google them), since they were big in Chesini and Zullini. Not Zullo.
