Hello Jon,

You might be interested in the site:

Using the list of Mondia serial #'s, and comparing paint schemes, #803958 is more likely a mid-80's frame set. For example, #356262 is painted one color. In addition, note where #803904 occurs on the timeline. The V-1970's are #12xxxx to #30xxxx. The paint shop produced interesting multi-color schemes (e.g., #168417, #300203) during the 70's.

Later 70's (I think) Mondia Super.

Serial number 803958. Reynolds 531 DB.

Seat-tube 60cm center to center.

Top-tube 58.5cm center to center

Seat-post 26.8

Rear spacing 123mm

Includes excellent condition (French thread) Campaganolo Record headset and bottom bracket, and Campy D/O adjusters and seat-collar binder. HS and BB are cleaned but not installed, just shown dry assembled for the photos.

Bike is in overall very nice condition but unfortunately there is a dent in the down-tube on the left side towards the bottom of the tube right about where the bottle bosses are. It's a pretty gentle shallow crease, and I'm sure was caused from being stacked up with a bunch of other bikes recently and not from any type of collision damage. I tried to take good of photos of

the damage but it's really hard to get it to show. See pics # 11 and 12 below.

In my opinion it is purely cosmetic and will not affect the integrity of the

frame (even for a big boy that will fit this one). It's toward the underside

of the tube so is not very visible when the bike is built up. I did not notice until I had it stripped and was cleaning the frame.

Other than that the bike is very straight with great chrome and only a few bad scratches in the paint. One on the right side of the top-tube, and on the right seat-stay. I think the silver would be pretty easy to touch up though.

The decals are worn but are not clear-coated so can be replaced with one of Greg Softley's kits.

Email offlist for any details I left out.

Asking $225 plus actual shipping via Fedex Ground.
