Dale,
I couldn't agree more! The way I decide how a bike rides is to ride it a fair amount over a period of two months, let's say. By that time one should have a good idea whether they like the bike or not and also have had time to refine the set up before making a final judgment. Hopping on a bike and taking it for a spin around the block will tell you something; but one must get used to the bike and make any adjustments before deciding if it suits you.

Hmm. Curtis, that's like asking the ride?characteristics?of a 1973 Paramount... No, worse, because most Hetchins were custom made, be they path racers, touring, road racing , track or ? All bikes of that era will be much more compliant than modern bikes.?
AND, any?response?you receive from this question will be SO subjective. A fat guy (!)will have had a different experience than a skinny guy, ditto tall vs short... an experienced ex-racer will have a different set of expectations than a die hard tourer. In short, you can't believe anyone!
