An all-Campy Motobecane was most probably a Team Champion, more or less a replica of the team bikes, except for the color. Don't remember a lime green, perhaps this has been repainted. I believe Team Champion usually had a decal with the model name on the toptube, but perhaps this was not replaced after a repaint. I do believe some late 70's/ early 80's Team Champions did use Columbus rather than the 531 used in earlier years.

\r?\n> Hello,

\r?\n>

\r?\n> I recently bought a lime green Motobecane bicycle with

\r?\n> Columbus tubing. It has been ridden just once. The parts

\r?\n> are

\r?\n> Campagnolo Nuovo Record, the crank arms indicate 1977. The

\r?\n> rims are Super Champion, Saddle is S.Marco Supercorsa

\r?\n> Lugs are longpoint, with cutouts, Fork crowns are Chromed.

\r?\n>

\r?\n> Can anyone tell me what model this was? And, was it common

\r?\n> to build Motobecanes with Columbus?

\r?\n>

\r?\n> Best regards,

\r?\n>
