Thanks ... ya, that was done intentionally to maximize the use of wheel guides still remaining on the all aluminum, off-set mounted pad holders, where some guides had broken off. She was strictly a wall queen, so that didn't matter as much as showing the good stuff from the drive side. The buyer of the bike is in Taiwan I think, and I mentioned it to him, just to be sure. Many of you may have noticed that this bike has 1" tubing in all three main tubes (as compared to the norm of 1 1/8" seat & down tubes). Not sure what the head tube diameter is but it is diminutive as well, as is the tiny
headset. Colnago went to fascinating lengths to make these bikes special. Note in the pic of the crank set, look past the crank & see the "bilaminate" bbkt shell.
