Subject: [CR] Myth or Reality? TA Pedal dustcap tool???

No one has responded to my recent post as to who if anyone still sells TA pedals in the US. But undeterred, I have a related question. Has there ever been a tool available for removing the dustcap to replace or adjust bearings? TA pedals have a knurled cap with a grease fitting, but there are also three grooves in the cap, which would appear to be for a removal tool. I've heard reports that such a tool existed, and I believe Chris at Velo Orange at one time was trying to order some from TA.

But I've never actually seen this tool, or even a photo if one. Is its existance just an urban myth, or are there confirmed sitings among CR members? Chris? Jan? Greg Parker? If no such tool exists, how does one remove the cap? Channel locks and extreme care?
