I am rebuilding a pair of Nuovo Record brake calipers for use on a current
project. At some point in their history, the chromed dome nuts on the fr
ont of the calipers had been replaced with a set of ugly, mis-matched and
improperly sized non-Campy dome nuts. I would like to find a pair of repl
acement Campy dome nuts. Should any of you have a pair available, please
let me know.
In the meantime, is there any reason why I should NOT use an alloy pair o
f dome nuts (from some Scott/Mathauser brake shoes)?
