How dare someone desecrate that frame with Shima-NO! and as J Jorgensen pointed out there is possibility that the stays were spread apart to accommodate sis shifting Who would do such a thing! Now before anyone gets upset,I am just joking, even if the rear spacing has been messed with it can be fixed

thanks for letting me know about the plastic adapters, i would never have known Shimano not spoken here
