I assume that the TA Pro 5-vis cranks were available from their start with closed back pedal openings (for shorter threaded axles - more common to thinner steel crank arms). How long was this option continued in production? It does not seem to be even mentioned in any of the catalogues I've seen.
Here are a couple of hastily taken photos of a pair I happen to have which illustrate this feature. These have French pedal threads, but I would imagine this was available on BSC models also.
