Subject: [CR] odd campagnolo rear derailleur

I just purchased this rear derailleur.

Ebay Item # 290291237640

I received it today. It is before indexing? On topic? It produced a giggle or two and is fun in a weird R. Goldberg way. What is it? Does anyone have an instruction page? It is going to be used on a pretty blue Bottecchia that has a muttly assortment of Campagnolo that I like or think is just odd.
