My Super Grand Prix has Normandy hubs which are marked '77. Of course for a '78 build they could have used '77 hubs.

By the way, my light blue SGP is for sale. 25 1/2' c to t, all original except for crank set..original arms were 165, I replaced them with Shimano 172.5, 52/42 and a sealed bb. Comes with a Zephel pump, water bottle holder and Blackburn rear rack. Tires are 700x35 Kevlar w/ presta..Saddle is Sella Italia (Anatomic) RD is a Shimano 600, long cage. FW is a Maillard 13-30 ...Perfect for commuting and/or light touring.

Condition for '77 is very, very clean. Decals are all intact. Minor scratches on the paint...$200. plus shipping at cost.

Can someone tell me the manufacturing dates of the Super Grand Prix? I was under the impression that they were only built in 1978, yet I see them for sale listed as 1983 and even later.
