Heating a steel freewheel on an aluminium hub isnt going to work as the aluminium espands three times as much as the steel part. Sticking it in the freezer is a better idea.

If a freewheel is really stuck do not use a wrench, but head for the large bench vise. Make sure the bench is bolted down securely, as the required torque is > 1 Gorilla (angry). If the wheel hasn't collapsed or the remover hasn't stripped and the freewheel is still stuck you haven't been trying.
