Thank you for your posting, and for all that you have done for cycling during your 12,000-frames-plus (!) career. I have admired your work for many years, although I have not had the pleasure of owning one of your bikes. (I DO own an Eisentraut, however, and your compliment on his work is significant. I hope no one has to re-tube or re-assemble it, though...)
