I recently bought an old Silca Impero plastic pump on the assumption that , as I have been told by a knowledgable bikie, it can be cut and re-threade d to fit my renovated frame. I know re-threading the plastic barrel could b e dicey. Anyone have any ideas about how to go about this? What kind of thr eading does it have? I only paid a few bucks for it so I can afford to bite the bullet if necessary.
