Subject: [CR] question for wheelbuilders

Hi all, I will be getting a Hi lo front wheel built up soon. The hub has been made from 2 hubs cut, steel sleeved and welded, so should be stong enough, but I'd still like to make sure its going to survive. In your opinion what spoke pattern would put less stress on the centre barrel of the hub, X2 or radial? These are my 2 preferred patterns, looking forward to some opinions. Also come to think of it, I also made a MAVIC sealed bearing hub without a barrel, it just has the 2 flanges, what spoke pattern would be best for that, if any may apply........wayne davidson in HOT Invers NZ............
