Could this pro rider 'Mick' be reffering to Mick Bennett, who I seem to remember maybe rode for the Viscount sponsered Coventry road club? or some other variation. I know the Viking team frames were made by Steve Woodrup, but I don't recall us doing the Viscount frames, although I did make Mick Bennett a track frame in or around 1980, but can't remember who he was riding for then.

Mick is now the organiser of the London cycle show, and also has a big part in organising the pro Tour of Britain.

Cheers Kevin Sayles [who did get out, but punctured after 4 mile!] Bridgwater Somerset UK
