If you like 'em steep and short a randoneuse will seem strange for
about 50 feet, then you'll relax and enjoy the ride without the
constant attention a steep bike requires. Bigger tires help as well.
If you're not sure try try to find a Japanese bike from the 80s. Many
of them, esp. Bridgestones and Miyatas are similar to randoneuse bikes,
