I live in Philadelphia and know the seller of this bike and have seen it in person many times. It is stunning! The chrome is good and the shade of orange seems to have just aged really well. I hope its gone to a good home.

\r?\n> What a strange coincidence. I saw a 1939 Schwinn Paramount

\r?\n> track bike

\r?\n> yesterday that was all original except someone had used the

\r?\n> hubs to make

\r?\n> clincher wheels. I assume it orig. had wood tubular rims.

\r?\n> It includes a

\r?\n> copy of the orig bill of sale ($72) and a copy of the

\r?\n> insurance policy the

\r?\n> owner took out on it. I asked..........$3000. I didn't

\r?\n> get the ser# but it

\r?\n> was sold in 1940. The owner is not actively trying to sell

\r?\n> it.
