Dmitry, Nice Rivendell! I've been running my barend equipped Raleigh like that for a while. http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/Petes-Pile/Raleigh-SuperCourse/360616_R1_03_3.jpg.html The stainless housing worked but I find the lined housing with slippery cable is better and lasts longer between tuneups, vs having to lube the old style cable and housing.
