Simon, have a look at this pair. On my 1959 time trialler. http://www.flickr.com/photos/makfreak/3171874042/in/set-72157612209508284/ I bought the levers bars and stem all together with the tape on ebay 3 yrs ago for £90.

This pair are on David Palks' 1948 Curly Cut Gillott. They dont have the stamped logo. http://www.flickr.com/photos/makfreak/3477118405/in/set-72157617359163094/ I believe David has used Alp calipers.
