Thanks Mark. I had seen the levers on the 'Curly cut' Gillott and although I've seen the photos of your lovely time trialer before i had forgotten the levers... I do love the look of them, likewise the Alp brakes the little wing-nut quick release thing is so cool. The CR archive (maybe) did something odd to the amount you paid for the bars, stem, levers combo, was it 90 quid? what a steal!
Robert, or anyone else, do you have a good photo of Bartali's 'Bartali' levers? Indistinct pics I've seen look as though they have rubber hoods fitted also, I wonder from which manufacturer.
