Cheers John Crump OldandsmallBrit, Parker.Co USA Yes John, that frame is indeed finished very nicely. However, I wonder how correct it is for 1948 International Club. I'm looking at the one from the 1948 catalogue here:

My '53 New Allrounder had the Olympic rings on the seat tube, but in scouring various catalogues and other on line resources in order to finish my '51 frame correctly, I don't see them on earlier years; certainly not 1948. Also, the script decal on the downtube ought to be the bigger one. As for the head badge decal, that's the same one I have to use on my '51, but I suspect it's a much more modern design. I have heard that Claud would use decals when he was out of head badges and my '51 has no rivet holes. Another detail I'm wondering about is the pump pegs. The catalogue picture above has them behind the seat tube, whereas the frame on eBay has them on the downtube. Then again, Claud could have made them both ways. (Listers, I'm not here criticizing how the frame has been finished, just trying to glean as much information on old Clauds as I can.)
