Dmitry Yaitskov asks "...the V-CC - is (paid) membership of said club worth it for overseas members? ..."

If you're interested in British bicycles and cycling history, it certainly is, though it is a bit broader. I joined a couple of years ago to get The Boneshaker for its in-depth articles on British bikes and cycling. News & Views is interesting for its shorter pieces and photos. The prices asked for bikes in the ad listings in News & Views are much lower than what you see in auction outcomes on eBay.

The VCC section of the National Cycle Library currently has 4,122 scanned items, which could be photos, catalogues, flyers, ads, programmes, photos of objects, lots of things... it's fun to poke along the listings and just look at things. Yes, there's a lot of material on older bikes than the CR timespread with which we're familiar..... BUT after a hesitant start, I now read the articles on the old bikes and cycling in Boneshaker and find them really interesting. So it's all good... You can pay for your membership via Paypal, so overseas membership is easy to accomplish.
