Ah yes, the old Peugeot confusion... I have a 1980 PKN10E, it has a drilled Stronglight chainset - according to catalogues this was not a UK market feature but only on French, US or maybe Dutch ones... Interesting that many PX10s of the period did not get drilled chainsets, again, according to the market I think. And tyres were not consistent - mine is catalogued as coming with Michelins but still has the original (I am pretty sure they are original) Hutchinsons... I think they tended to use up whatever parts they had most of sometimes. As for forks; I found my bike at a recycler (council dump in the UK) perfect and complete but for one fork leg bent backwards and the front wheel sitting next to the bike. I lifted it up, put my foot on the bottom bracket and pulled the fork leg straight. I have ridden it about 2,500 miles since... Guess the PKN10E had forks made from tubing then... I also had one of those nice old Peugeot Sport computers that looked like an early laptop or calculator, mine got stolen when the bike was stolen, I got the bike back but without the computer. If anyone knows where I could get another, that would be wonderful?
