I'd be interested to know why you came to the conclusion you did. In the week or so since the bike has been outed and discussed no one questioned the authenticity of the bike, or the sellers claims.
I have a good friend who lives in Milano and works about 2 blocks from the Vigorelli, I could possibly impose on him and ask him to verify with Alberto. The seller says he (Alberto) will corroborate the story, maybe it would be worth it to do that instead of throwing out accusations (i.e. the Carlton Massed Start)
