Regarding part date matching, 1973 dated Campagnolo components are probably in above average demand here in the US due to the Masi GCs from California using nothing but 1973 components for a whole bunch of years due to a very large initial shipment of components from the old country. I believe Brian Baylis has stated that a few times (see archive...) Modern day Masi GC owners may be more compelled to seek date matches (and Hunt-Wilde tape?) than others.
