I will send out an update on this once a month if that is OK.? Ken Taylor (Jack's brother) has accepted our invitation to come to the Seattle Bike Expo and Classic Bike show Mar 13-14 next year, and his doctor has given the OK to make the trip.? We are putting on a special show for him, and there will also be a program where he will be the center of attention.? We invited Jack too, but as expected he declined, as he is 92 and not up to the trip. Mark Lawrence of the UK who is a close friend of all the Taylors has made a new video interview of Jack and Ken (Norman sadly is no longer with us) which he will bring and show, and we will also show the 1985 BBC Documentary, and some recent and vintage Taylor photos in a slide show.? Then Ken will have the opportunity to answer questions and general chit chat.? I would like to see the largest collection of Taylors ever assembled come to this show.? The venue is a bright, warm, dry, large new facility called the Smith Cove Cruise Ship Terminal, and we will be pretty much front and center with plenty of show space.? The show is both days.? It can be nice riding weather then, though it often is not, so we will try to make it possible to bring your bike in later in the morning if you want to ride first.? I will arrange some routes not too far from the venue.? So make your plans to come, and bring your Taylor(s), or whatever classic bikes you have.??? I will try to make hats and t-shirts, and possibly some wool jerseys, and some large format copies of some of the vintage pics for sale, to help offset the expense of bringing Ken and Mark over.? It will be a great event.? Don't miss it.? If you have already? told me you are coming, I should have your name, but if not, let me know.?
thanks
