Hi all,

Just like Mark, I'm pretty curious about this technique. Does anyone know of any video online showing this? I searched through youtube but to no avail. I've been trying to picture it in my mind, but I have a hard time finding the fulcrum point for the forearm when pressing down against a forward rolling wheel (with the assumption that the tire is being palmed forward of the fork). Does one keep one's hand behind the flat of the dropbars and reach in front of the fork crown?

Looking forward to hearing more about this!

Cheers,

We would buy horse garden gloves, cut the ends of the finger off and have a shoemaker sew a heavy piece of leather on the palm of one glove. In my case my right arm was behind the handle bar, the fulcrum point was someplace between your wrist and your elbow. The contact with the tire was pretty close to the fork crown.  Gene Diggs, Rochester Hills, MI USA
