I appreciate your sensitivity however I don't mind being reminded. Often times I have watched eBay for long time and then in a post found what I wanted at a great price from someone in our group.

I have specifically avoided posting non-specific "I've got stuff" mail on the list when some items come up in discussion here, because I don't want to come across as just flagrantly promoting MPI and the new retail store Velo Classique. However, with all the questions about the availability of 40 hole rims, I felt it necessary to make people aware that I have a limited supply of 40 hole rims in stock. Being sensitive to the for-sale posting rules of the CR list, I'm offering for sale in this post a couple options:
Weinmann A129 (concave) 700c 40 hole w/ferrules. 4 available @ $40 each. Weinmann A124 (concave) 700c 36 hole (essentially the same as the A129 but without ferrules, so you can pair with the A129). 6 available @ $40 each. Weinmann 256 (square section with a slight center rise) 27" 40 hole w-o/ferrules. 12 available @ $35 each.
For now shipped only to the Cont US for cost + $10 box fee (for any number of rims, because I usually have to build a box to safely ship 1 to 4 or so rims). PayPal or checks accepted.
I have some other 32, 36, 40, and even 48 hole rims, in both 700c and 27", sometimes in even smaller quantities, which I will be posting for sale on the Velo Classique web site in the near future, along with some Simplex, Mafac and Campagnolo small-parts and other goodies. When that happens, I'll try to post a notice here too.
Please reply off-list.
