3M makes a product for attaching vehicle nameplates called Scotch-Mount. The part number is 051131. I got it at an automotive paint supply shop. I used this to mount the badge to my Eisentraut and it's been a solid attachment for seven years now. As was already mentioned, the badge can easily be detached. I have used 30# fishing line along with some mineral spirits with absolutely no damage to the paint.

Can anyone recommend a good adhesive for a metal badge to a powdercoated tandem frame I built (super-glue, epoxy, double-sided tape, etc.)?
