Why has a system of numerical reference never been developed for saddles? It would save so much trial and error if there was a sizing system similar to what we use for shoes. It would certainly help in narrowing down potentially usable saddles.

I think Selle Italia made the Avocet, and the Avocets are virtually a customized version of the Turbo. In particular, the Women's Turbo is virtually identical to a Women's Model II Avocet, wich happens to be my wife's favorite saddle.

\r?\n> 'Back in the day', which was closer
\r?\n> in comfort to an Avocet Touring
\r?\n> saddle, the San Marco Rolls or Selle Italia Turbo ??
\r?\n>
\r?\n> Both of these on-topic saddles have been reissued and are
\r?\n> relatively
\r?\n> affordable now, so they might make a good choice for the
\r?\n> 3Rensho
\r?\n> tandem.
