Fixie fools have been paying that kind of money for common old entry level gas pipe bikes.

The hype on this offering was a little over the top, IMO.

I sent the seller a polite note about his historical inaccuracies. Peugeot UO-8s were probably the most commonly imported European bike between the late 60s and late 70s. The only thing that it has in common with a PX-10 is the brand name! $1000? PX-10s at one point sold for under $300!
