When you say the 41t chainring is too small, do you mean it won't fit on the crank spider? If that is the case, perhaps you have a 151mm bolt circle, in which case the smallest chainring would be a 44 tooth.

Long Campy drops will usually handle a spread of 5 to 7 teeth, depending on the sizes of the cogs/fws. The larger the cogs/fws, the smaller percent of size change each tooth represents, so a 13/18 might be possible, and a 17-24 might also be possible. It all depends on the exact set-up i.e. length of the chainstays, size of the chainring, actual length of the track ends.
