I am in the process of purchasingwhat is described as a late 1950's Legnano. From what I can see it has chromed lugs and fork crown. the paint has been stripped off the frame except for the seattube "bands" and the headtube both which are burgundy. The seller says the remaider of the bike was a sort of Celeste color that someone had painted a bright yellow over. At forst I thought he was perhaps looking at the typical Legnano color and that the "undercoat" maybe looked celeste but I can't find any photoo evidence on-line of one with a burgundy head tube. Does anyone know of (or own) one with that type of color scheme?
