Before this goes the Ebay route I am offering a relatively early Drysdale. The frame is in original condition and excellent for its age. It is quite rare to find such an old example with such intact decals including the Drysdale red dot on the seat tube. Parts are what came on the bike and are either original or period correct (not sure about the saddle it is and Aquila but of the era I think. Just a bit odd). Given the current list discussion, be aware the frame is NOT drilled for brakes.

Frame measures as follows: seat tube: a hair under 54 c to t top tube: 60 c to c.

Equipped with 1/8 pitch drive chain which is definitely original to the bike. If buyer would prefer an inch-pitch set up (which I would discourage given the originality) it is possible.

Bike came from the son of a Massachusetts rider of the 30's. Given the date and the decals it was definitely made by Drysdale in his early digs in Hell's Kitchen (mid West Side) in New York City. This was before the move to his more familiar Canal Street Location. * TIRES ARE NOT INCLUDED* in sale. Asking $1800 or best reasonable offer with free shipping within continental U.S.A. Pics available at the following link. Please respond off list.
